David Liu

David is an Associate with PIB Law and focuses his practice on the representation of financial institutions, including mortgage lenders, servicers and trustees in matters involving claims under state and federal law. In addition, David has extensive experience handling issues involving class actions, misappropriation of trade secrets, business torts, contract claims, real property transactions and alternative dispute resolution. He is admitted to practice law in the State of California and all federal district courts in California.

 

Prior to joining PIB Law, David was an Associate at Severson & Werson, where his practice focused on the representation of financial institutions, including mortgage lenders, servicers and trustees. Previously, he was a Senior Litigation Associate with Pite Duncan.

 

David co-authored a respondent's brief in Thueson v. U-Haul Int'l, Inc., 144 Cal. App. 4th 664 (2006) which affirmed the trial court's judgment in favor of his client. David also participated in the preparation of a Brief in Opposition in the United States Supreme Court, Phar-Mor, Inc. v. McKesson Corp., No. 08-938, in which the U.S. Supreme Court denied certiorari.

 

David received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, his Master's degrees from the University of Southern California and his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University.
