PIB Law to Sponsor New York Legal Assistance Group Gala

SOMERSET, N.J., April 8, 2014 – PIB Law announced today that the firm is a Builder Sponsor - the highest sponsorship level - of the upcoming New York Legal Assistance Group Gala on April 8, 2014 at The Waldorf Astoria in New York City.  The firm will be represented at the NYLAG Gala by five of its partners and five associates.

The nonprofit New York Legal Assistance Group provides free civil legal services every year to more than 65,000 low income New Yorkers who cannot afford an attorney.  The theme for the 2014 NYLAG Gala is Celebrating Service to New York’s Immigrant Communities; the event will honor Matthew Biben, General Counsel, Consumer & Community Banking at JPMorgan Chase.

“The New York Legal Assistance Group is providing invaluable legal resources to the City’s disadvantaged citizens who desperately need legal services but cannot afford to pay,” said Jay Ibrahim, firm co-founder and managing partner.  “Their tireless efforts need and deserve our support, and we take a great deal of pride in contributing to their indispensable work.”

PIB Law was recently recognized by the New Jersey Law Journal as one of the top five large New Jersey law firms in terms of hiring in 2013.  The firm was also named one of the 2014 Best Places to Work by NJBIZ.  Based in Somerset, N.J., the firm also has offices in Philadelphia and New York City.
