BOSTON, Oct. 24, 2014 – PIB Law, a full service law firm with offices in Chicago, New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia and San Antonio, is continuing its nationwide expansion with the opening of a new office in Boston, Massachusetts.
James Behmke, former partner with Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP, has been named Managing Partner of the firm's newest office, which is located at One Financial Center in Boston. He is joined by Stephen LeBarron and Kenneth Heywood, both from Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP, along with Anthony Santoriello, who has been working out of the firm's Somerset, NJ office. The office will propel the firm's Intellectual Property practice in addition to its growing Corporate Transactional practice. It will also serve as a springboard to expand the firm's geographic reach for its multidisciplinary litigation department.
"The Boston area has been a long-standing hub for the financial industry, and also has a vibrant entrepreneurial buzz with emerging technologies around every corner," said James Behmke. "Establishing the Boston office will not only allow PIB to better service our existing and future clients in New England; it will also help to expand their roster of skilled attorneys."
"The firm's expansion to Boston is a natural extension of the organic growth we are experiencing in all of our practice areas," said firm Managing Partner Sanjay Ibrahim. "Clients need and deserve legal representation that provides added value well beyond the traditional legal services model. Boston gives the firm the opportunity to differentiate ourselves and branch out into new markets where we can develop and grow our practice areas. We recognize what our clients need, and we cater our services to them. Opening this office will allow us to offer the best solutions for our clients and will help them strengthen their operations and results."
